#### PC exam part 2: Clarifications assignment 3

Dear students,

Some clarifications regarding assignment 3.

• n represents the number of book titles, not the total number of copies. For example if there are b_1=100 copies of book A and b_2=200 of book B, n is still only 2.
• Furthermore these b values represent the total number of copies available across all libraries. So in the example above there are a 100 of book 1 and 200 of book 2 available in total (so not per library and not 101).
• The question that needs answering is whether all libraries can get enough books to satisfy the criteria. If there are any remaining books, that’s okay!

Kind regards,

#### PC exam part 1: Updated spec test in assignment 2

NOTE THE BELOW IS ABOUT PC-1! NOT PC2

Dear students,

There was a spec test in assignment 2 that showed flaky behaviour for some implementations. This has now been remedied. The number of test cases for assignment 2 is still 21.

#### PC exam part 1: Number of spec tests for exercise 2

NOTE THE BELOW IS ABOUT PC-1! NOT PC2

Dear students,

Exercise 2 is supposed to have a total of 21 spec tests. If you saw a total less than that (for example a score of x/3) that means that you were still failing some of these tests. A fix has been deployed that should ensure you should now see a score of x/21. If you still see a score out of less than 21, this means all other tests are failing.

Apologies for any confusion this may have caused,
